Warm Pesto Caprese
Serves: 2 | Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 beefsteak tomato
- 5 tbsp. pesto
- 60g shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
- Slice the tomato into 5 hearty slices and place on a baking sheet.
- Spread pesto onto each tomato.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese on top of pesto.
- Grill for approximately 5 minutes, or until the cheese is lightly browned, and garnish with basil.
